Introducing the 2009 season, Principal Conductor Robert Ainsley provides a historical context for the week of performances. Preceding the lecture is a short film shot on location in Terezin by the BBC entitled "Music in Terezin."

Children in Terezín

This program is devoted to the children of Terezin – the poems they wrote, the songs they sang and the lives they led. Includes Terezin survivor Ela Weissberger speaking about the concentration camp from a child's perspective.
