In 2004 baritone Ted Huffman and conductor Robert Ainsley organized a series of local concerts which very quickly grew into an annual event known as the Greenwich Music Festival.
Robert Ainsley resides primarily in Portland Oregon, where he is the Head of Music for Portland Opera. He returns to Greenwich each spring as Principal Conductor of the festival.
Ted Huffman currently lives in New York City, where he is a freelance singer. For his work as Artistic Director of the Greenwich Music Festival he was recently honored with the 2008 CMA/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming.
